Vacation Resorts in Lake Buena Vista

Staying at one of the available vacation resorts in Lake Buena Vista is a great way to get the most out of your travel budget, and enjoy terrific amenities at the same time.  Unlike a hotel, where you and your guests have limited space, a vacation resort is more like a luxury apartment, with living and dining areas, full kitchen and laundry facilities. Plus, more recreational activities are offered beyond the usual swimming pool and fitness center.

One of the finest vacation resorts in Lake Buena Vista is the Blue Tree Resort.  This gem of a getaway has four swimming pools, a children's pool and playground, family activities, mini golf, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts. In addition, there are services for the business traveler, including wireless Internet, meeting facilities and a business center.  The Blue Tree Resort is located just minutes from Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios, and provides complimentary shuttle service to the parks and a nearby outlet shopping mall.

When you'd like a break from the theme park scene, why not try your hand at playing a round of putt-putt golf? It's an enjoyable way to spend a few hours in the afternoon or early evening. Besides the miniature golf course at the Blue Tree Resort, there are several other mini golf courses nearby, including two at Disney World that offer fun for guests of all ages!

Disney's Fantasia Gardens includes many characters from the animated movie classic, Fantasia, including hippos that dance and broomsticks that march. Next door to Blizzard Beach, you'll find Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course. As the name suggests, there are two courses to play - an 18-hole Winter Course featuring ice castles, snowmen, Santa and his elves - and an 18-hole Summer Course, with sandcastles, surfboards and more.

At nearby Pirate's Cove, you'll putt your way through the world of 18th century pirates - wandering through caves, over footbridges and beneath cascading waterfalls.  Watch out for the 50 foot fire and lava-spewing volcano as you wind through the mini golf course at Orlando's Hawaiian Rumble. This course has holes for the beginner or advanced, and features lush greenery, with Tiki heads and torches, hills, waterfalls and tunnels.

Once you tally up your score, head back to the Blue Tree Resort or one of the other fine vacation resorts in Lake Buena Vista to unwind and relax. Then, you can start planning your next day's activities in our beautiful Sunshine State!
